Professional Blogging

One of my favorite things about blogging is the lack of rules! Anything goes. Really. Anything.

Well…almost anything. There is so much more flex to blogging in regards to grammar, acceptable content, even ethics. So, what does it mean to be a professional blogger? If there are no rules to blogging, can there be a professional? What do you think?

I read mostly other authors’ blogs. Some of the blogs that I read only contain "professional" content – business updates, thoughts on the writing industry, promotions, marketing, etc. Other blogs seem to be at the other end of the spectrum – only having feelings, rants, raves, like an online diary. Some people even have more than one blog.

So…I guess the only real rules should be set by readers. What do you want to read? Let me know! Yes or no – do you enjoy Destiny’s blog? If no, what should I change?
